What changed in the accessible version

  • Every attorney image now has a descriptive alternative so screen readers can identify each person by name.
  • Heading levels follow a logical order. The page title is h1, section titles are h2, and individual attorney names are h3.
  • Card structure gives each attorney their own semantic grouping, making it easier to navigate between profiles with assistive technology.
  • Page regions are labeled for screen reader navigation, allowing users to jump directly to Partners, Associates, or Review Notes.

What still needs live implementation

  • WordPress attorney archive template needs these semantic updates applied to the theme files that generate the directory layout.
  • Attorney profile images should include meaningful alt text in the CMS so editors can maintain descriptions as the roster changes.
  • Full directory needs the same treatment applied. This page shows a representative sample only.
